The electromagnet was initially invented in 1825 by William Sturgeon, a British electrician. He demonstrated that a seven ounce piece of iron which was wrapped around with wires and had a small electric current going through it could easily lift nine pounds of metal. William Sturgeon started off as an apprentice to a shoemaker but after teaching himself in mathematics and also physics became a lecturer in science at the East India Company College in Addiscombe Surrey, England.
An electromagnet will become magnetic only if an electric current flows through it and a generator which uses electromagnets or "field coils" requires a flow of electricity through the electromagnets for the device to work. If there is no flow of electricity via the wires then it does not work.
The magnetic generator however uses the spinning magnets to generate electrical energy in the first place. It produces more power than is necessary to keep the magnets rotating and so you can use the excess to power your home.
The permanent magnetic energy generator concept is based on the continuous motion produced by magnetic power and charges. Continuous motion is whenever a device or mechanism continuously moves without stopping and without any outside assistance. Magnets are able to cause this never ending motion as a result of natural charge that they hold.
